Trip Highlights

This 3 days and 2 nights 100 km tour is for those who want to visit the temples differently, with bike and using less visited paths. During this cycling adventure, participants will see major temples of the Angkor Wat area, as well as few more remote. Hotel is not included and every morning your tour guide will come to pick you up at your hotel.

Detailed Program

Day 1: Angkor Sunrise and small circuit (20 to 30 km)
Meeting at your hotel. Transfer to Angkor Wat for sunrise. Visit the Angkor Wat complex with your guide. We will then have a breakfast in front of the moat surrounding this unique temple. After breakfast, we start cycling to the South Gate, and ride to the West Gate off-road. Cycle off road trails to a hidden temple in the middle of rice field. Back to the circuit, and lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Bayon temple and ride to the Death Gate of the Angkor Thom city. We finish with a ride under the trees to Preah Kahn temple. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Secret Temples (Cycle 55 km)
For those who want a real Indiana Jones’ experience, prepare to discover distant temples lost in rice fields, in the forest and on top of far-flung hill. Your breath will be taken away by the panoramic views accross the Cambodian countryside. Lunch at local restaurant.
Drop off at your hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Kbal Spean and Banteay Srey temple (Cycling 40 km)
Pick up at your hotel and transfer by vehicle to the foot hills of the Kulen Mountain. There is a hike of about 2 km to reach the Kbal Spean river, where the river bed is carved with thousand of Lingas. After the visit we meet our bicycle and cycle to Bantey Srey, the “pink citadel” Temple. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we cycle back to Siem Reap, via country roads (about 25km). Cycle to the hotel. This is the end of our services and cycling tour.

What to bring?
Participants should carry a small backpack, containing the personal items for the day. Camera, sunscreen. etc..
We will provide you with bottled drinking water that you can carry in this small pack.
Footwear: no sandals. Use good footwear to ride, as cycling shoes, or runners, with hard soles.
Short and shirts: nylon/synthetic fiber/fabric is better as it dry quickly.
Must have: pair of cycling gloves. Sunglasses.
Optional: padded cycling short for utmost comfort.

For info: a 3 days Temple pass cost 40 USD. Temple pass have to be issued at the gate/entry to the site, on the day we start the tour.
