A great way to discover the Temples of Angkor Wat is certainly by bicycle, where you can ride your own pace with the reward to stop at some of the fabulous temples of the complex.
A days is spend pedaling through the main alleys of the Angkor Wat Temple complex, under shadow of giant trees, discovering the main Temples. Next, we take you further away, riding to the more remote Temples of Bantey Srei and Beng Melea.

Detailed Program

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL DAY
Welcome to Siem Reap. Meeting at airport and transfer to hotel.
Bike fitting and balance of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 2 – CYCLING THE TEMPLES
Embark on a 10km ride from Siem Reap to Angkor Wat, stopping to explore the temple complex and to enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, cycle an additional 17 to 24km o n the Small Circuit between Angkor Wat and Phnom Bakeng, with stops at the Death Gate, Victory Gate, Terraces of Elephants and Leper King, and Srah Srang. Watch the sunset from Phnom Bakeng.
Cycling distance: 30-35km. Grade: Easy

DAY 3 – CYCLING THE TEMPLES / BANTEY SREI
Take a shuttle bus to the rose sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, then explore the temple’s magnificent carvings and embark o n the 31km Grand Circuit to the ruined, jungle temple of Preah Khan. Bike to Neak Pean Temple, famous for its sacred pools, breaking for lunch before riding another 21km to Banteay Kdei and Siem Reap via picturesque country lanes.
Cycling distance: 50-55km. Grade: Easy/Moderate

DAY 4 – CYCLING THE TEMPLES / REMOTE BENG MELEA
Following breakfast, we ride on quiet country roads passing through villages, Khmer pagodas, lotus pond and rice paddies. Enjoy the peaceful ambience of Cambodia’s countryside whist cycling. After 15 km of cycling we stop at Rolous temple group including Bakong, Preakko and Lolei temple. Rolous used to be the former capital of Angkor Regime in 9th century. Admiring the incredible architecture of the ruined ancient temples and we then cycle back to town.
Cycling distance: Approx 55-60km. Grade: Moderate

DAY 5 – AT LEISURE AND TRANSFER TO AIRPORT
Breakfast at your hotel. On time transfer to the airport.
